The planning application to build 257 houses on Reading Golf Club will be decided by Reading Borough Council’s Planning Applications Committee this Wednesday evening, 21st July 2021 from 6:30pm.
The RGC application is item 20 on the agenda. The planning officers have recommended that the application should be refused. You can read their report by clicking here. However, it is the councillors at the committee meeting who will make the decision.
You can observe the meeting
Members of the public can observe the committee’s discussions on-line, either live from 6:30pm on Wednesday or later on YouTube.
The agenda for the meeting can be found by clicking here (or click here and follow the link to the 21 July Agenda). Whilst the RGC application is shown as item 20 on the agenda, we understand that it is likely to be brought towards the top of the agenda and we therefore expect it to be one of the first items considered.
The link to the on-line meeting can be found at the top of the agenda, and is copied here too:
We would encourage all KEG subscribers to view the meeting if they have time to do so, as it will provide a further demonstration of opposition to the proposed development.
We will send you another update following the decision.
As always, thank you so much for your support and if you have any comments, questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
