KEG's Objections to 210018

We have taken a lot of the work that we had done for the previous objection, however we have also commissioned a detailed landscape review and split the previous document in to 7 new documents covering different topics to make them more readable for council officers who can not be expected to read through every chapter.

The documents are listed below, including our objection email. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed, especially the primary authors and third party experts, who have put a lot of effort in to reading the application and commenting on it.

Dear Ms Bedford,

Planning Application 210018 – Land at Reading Golf Club

When the previous application (200713) was made by the Golf Club to build 260 homes on their land the Keep Emmer Green (KEG) group considered that there were a number of inaccuracies, miscalculations and omissions from the planning data supplied by the applicants.

Additionally, incorrect weight was given to various important matters affecting the local residents. A similar situation is present with the current application and KEG has therefore put together a series of seven documents highlighting matters of concern and, in particular, non-compliance with Council policies.

These documents are being sent to various Council Officers so that they will be aware of KEG’s concerns regarding the application.

Please accept the attached documents as the formal objection from KEG to planning application 210018.
