The latest planning application for the Reading Golf Club land in Emmer Green is now available to view on the Reading Borough Council website. The application number is 211843 and can be accessed by following this link. The council have also provided a dedicated web page organising the many documents in the application by topic.
This latest application is for outline planning permission to build 223 homes on the site which is a slight reduction from the previous application that was refused in July this year. The layout of the site has also been slightly amended.
As the application consists of over 120 documents, one of which is 124 pages in length, it will take some time to be scrutinised in detail. A further newsletter will follow shortly where we will try to give a summary of the application though needless to say that, once again, the developer has completely ignored the requirements of the local plan and is looking to build over the same area, being all of the land in Reading Borough.
